The "Be Like Me" series of books are written for "double discipleship".  The intent is that the reader will learn as they read, as will the listener.  For example, in the first book, "Marry A Man Like Me", a Dad will learn what his daughters need from him while his daughters will learn what they will one day need to look for in the man they will marry.  

Each book builds on the relationship of the reader to the listener, encouraging both to be able to see the necessity of Jesus in all of life.
